Both the high school accounting and personal finance classes took a field trip to First National Bank of Las Animas where Jaxon Meardon gave them a closer look at loan applications, processing loans, credit reports, tax documents and check registers. They heard first hand from a personal banker the importance of saving money and sticking to a budget.

What a fun activity HS STUCO had for Homecoming last week - "Where's The Trojans?" Anybody could look for the Trojan Heads posted around the community and send in a selfie when they found one. Mrs. Gardner and the 6th graders found several last week.

Congratulations to Melody Gruber. She is an alternate winner of a scholarship from the OJC Art Festival.

Jr/Sr: We will be filling food bags and delivering them to the elementary school again. It went smoothly last time, and with more folks, it can be even more efficient. Thank you to those who helped last week! Fr/So: We will be going out to the golf course to tidy up the course. This will involve raking, picking up trash, and other minor upkeep details. We will work from 9-12pm
