Blood Drive:
Students grades 7-12, are you looking for a way to get more involved in the community and earn some community service hours in the process? This summer the City of Las Animas is hosting Paint and Connect -- a service outreach program aimed at beautifying properties in the community. The City is looking for a team or two -- or three -- of students to embody HECTOR and get out in the community and serve. Those who sign up will receive a certificate that honors their hours, a t-shirt, meals, and a chance to connect with groups from across the community and country. If you are interested, signup sheets are in front of Mr. Vigil's room or Mr. Armstrong's room!

Attention all high school football players: There will be a meeting for football players after school on Wednesday and Thursday: Upperclassman will meet at 4:00pm on Wednesday in the weight room and underclassmen will meet at 4:00 pm on Thursday in the weight room. Practice begins on Monday, March 1st at 4:15 at the football field. Please contact Coach Vigil if you have any questions.
Attention all Jr. High Girls (either here or home learning): volleyball practice will begin Tuesday March 2nd. You must have a current sports physical. If you have any questions contact coaches (Ashley Armstrong or Sarah Smith). 8th grade Home learners will come in through the weight room doors at 2pm and do a temp check before coming into the gym every day and 7th grade will come in at 3pm through the weight room.
