First graders have been learning about nonfiction text features, civic symbols, and groaning! They became nonfiction text surgeons yesterday and performed surgery on their patient, The National Anthem. They also graphed their data.
The students at the elementary school just love their therapy dog, Emmie!

Don't for our "Adopt A Senior" is this Monday, May 3. I'll post all the senior spotlight pictures on our Facebook page at 9:00 a.m. The first person to comment "adopt" gets to "adopt" that senior. I'll have the senior contact you with their information; you can then decorate their yard, mailbox, share gifts, notes, cards, etc... with them until their graduation on May 16. Be sure and share your pictures with our Facebook page so we can share them!
