Slide Into Trojan Baseball Themed Games!

Rocket league game from last Thursday was rescheduled for yesterday and the Rocket team won with a sweep 3-0!!!

Athletes of the Week:
Senior Week vs Hoehne & McClave- Mya Marfil has been a crucial part of the Lady Trojan Team. She analyzes our defenses and helps to understand how things are working. Her quiet leadership is helpful and important.
District Week vs McClave- The Seniors have led and bought-in to the Trojan Basketball culture for 5 years. They worked hard to overcome this season and earn a spot in the league championship! We will miss them next year.

HS Athletes of the Week:
Regional Week- The entire Lady Trojans Basketball Team worked extremely hard to first maintain a lead against West Grand while earning 30 fouls to the opponents 10. They never wavered and earned their spot in a regional championship for the first time in over 10 years. Against the 2A state runner-ups, the team showed heart and fought till the very end. The coaches and fans are very proud of our Lady Trojans!

HECTOR of the Week

We enjoy having Jordy in our school and we are excited to see him grow as a student."
Staff - Mrs. Netherton. The passion and dedication that Mrs. Netherton has towards the students of Las Animas High is a breath of fresh air. She is ready to help and do whatever she can for the best interest of the student. She is a Trojan Warrior in school and out and we are lucky to have her in our community. Mrs. Netherton is HECTOR!
