HECTOR of the Week

HECTOR of the Week
JH - Annabelle Varela - Annabelle is an outstanding student and citizen! She always goes above and beyond in
everything that she does. She is an active member of ETAC, and she uses her experiences to make our school better and more fun. Annabelle is super respectful to her teachers. She helps out classmates whenever possible. She will do extra work in her classes for extra credit all the time. She has a fantastic sense of humor and puts a smile on the face of everyone around her. We are so proud of how Annabelle displays HECTOR around our schools!
HS - Zach Gallegos: Zach Gallegos is a senior that is truly coming in to his own. It is cool to see his optimism,
excellence, and honesty across the academic board. His dry humor is always well received and, frankly, quite appreciated from our team. We know he is very much looking forward to graduation, but we are glad to hang on to him for another three quarters.
Staff - Mr. Lindauer has been a cornerstone of Las Animas High School for many years, positively impacting countless
students through his dedication to teaching everything from physical education to Ag and shop classes. His deep care forthis town and community is evident in the pride he takes in educating and preparing the next generation. Whether he is helping a student learn a new skill, fixing something broken, or building something to improve our school, Mr. Lindauer is always willing to lend his time and expertise. He has embodied the HECTOR values longer than almost anyone, and his years of service, generosity, and commitment to our school make him a truly deserving HECTOR of the Month!
