Athlete of the Week
I would like to nominate Daniel Garcia and Josias Flores for players/gamers/athletes of the week as they are both
exceptionally respectful and patient, they communicate with each other very well to be able to win their games in
fortnite.
Athlete of the week for Cross country is Lia Cadenas Ayala. Lia does an amazing job of maintaining her pace and has
been working to increase that pace. It paid off this weekend with a PR at the Royal Gorge and an amazing race at a
tougher course in Elizabeth. Keep it up Lia!
Volleyball athlete of the week is Abigail Netherton. Abigail was a force to be reckoned with in Crowley County, putting
a lot of pressure on their hitters at the net. She had several blocks and digs off of her own blocks putting the Trojans in
scoring position. Abigail also served up three aces, leading the team in this category. Great job Abigail!
Haley Busenitz is this week’s JH Volleyball Athlete of the Week! Haley is a solid and dependable player who has been
able to contribute to both teams throughout the season. Her versatility and willingness to step in wherever she is needed
make her a valuable part of our program. (not pictured) 
Jerome Ethridge is the player of the week. Offensively Jerome had 80 reception yards with 2 touchdowns to help the
Trojans extend their lead against Rocky Ford. Jerome also helped defensively with 4 total tackles. Great job Jerome!
